Bruder House, built in 1839 was purchased by the Historical Society of Cheshire County to be used as an educational and cultural center for the public.

Renovations will include an addition of classroom, meeting and storage spaces, and a visitor information center.  Exterior renovations include a covered porch as well as a function area and a paved walkway incorporating commemorative bricks.
