Ingram Construction provided CM services for the Windham & Windsor Housing Trust’s Portfolio Enhancement Phase 1 project. This 2.1 million dollar project is a scattered site undertaking which is geared to significantly improve the energy efficiency of four properties in Brattleboro as well as one in Wilmington. In addition to upgrades in insulation, air sealing, and HVAC systems there is comprehensive sprucing up of the 29 housing units in the various properties. These improvements include new kitchens, refinishing existing wood floors, drywall and painting, new siding, roof repairs, and improved landscaping to the buildings’ green spaces. All 29 units were occupied at the time of our being awarded the contract for the work, necessitating a great deal of planning, communication, and cooperation between the Housing Trust, Arnold & Scangas Architects, and Ingram Construction.
